Timely frames are finished with a polyester based paint system that is baked onto the steel. The paint is applied before the frames are roll formed – a testament to the toughness of a finish that is impossible to duplicate at the jobsite. Other benefits of factory prefinishing are –
- Eliminates the high cost of jobsite painting
- Allows doors, frames and hardware to be installed at the end of the project reducing opportunity for damage
- Eliminates project delays – hollow metal frames must be installed when the walls are being erected
- Guaranteed quality of finish – uniform color, thickness, and gloss
- Eliminates risk of poor craftsmanship at the jobsite
